What’s the point if you wipe all scores, if they are all going to be back again in an hour because you only deleted the scores, but not people’s saves? High scores will always be busted on Kongregate because most games are single player, and games report their scores locally. That’s about the only use high scores have on this website. If you want to compare yourself to others, friend a bunch of people and use friend only scores. High scores are always going to be busted.

Yes, there is no way to reach it legitimately within a lifetime at the current, but logistically you can get to zone 1000 before the game breaks.Īnd, at the end of the day, how do you prove that there is no game breaking bug in the game that some people are facing, that boosts their scores really high? Kongregate can’t manage everybody’s games, so on what basis would they agree to reset scores if they don’t know the game is functioning properly? It’s the developer that sets up the high scores and submits them from people’s games. That number seems to be like zone 1000 for Trimps right now… which is actually about the maximum achievable zone in the game right now. However, this system isn’t perfect, and as long as your score is “close enough” to the people on top, it will be approved, meaning the highest approved score value rises over time. Kongregate will auto-ban obvious cheaters, like people who submit a score which is much higher than the score of the person in #1. I don’t really care about High scores, but it was an irritant when I tried to reference it for a question in chat.
